Fr. Rob Edwards also joins us from another jurisdiction with a strong legacy of faithful service and spiritual leadership. His apostolic succession is recognized, and he will retain all the rights and privileges of a priest within The Free Anglican Mission Society. 

 

Fr. Edwards has served in ordained ministry for over 40 years in various ecumenical settings. He holds degrees in communication as well as a Master of Divinity in Christian Education. He is a certified trauma-informed coach, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Religious Trauma Studies.  His present ministry currently focuses on providing comfort and care for the bereaved who have no local church affiliation.  A solemnly professed Franciscan, Fr Edwards also is focused on healing ministries with combat veterans and others living with post-traumatic stress, as well as those who have experienced religious trauma and spiritual abuse.  Fr. Edwards’ dedication to pastoral care and his passion for ministry align perfectly with our mission to spread the love and teachings of Christ.

Fr. Edwards and his wife reside in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. They have two grown young-adult children, and he is the Emotional Support Human to Daisy, their  English Cream Golden Retriever.
