The Right Reverend Brent Whetstone
Bishop Brent Whetstone, a recognized leader in the healthcare industry, specializes in delivering compassionate and culturally sensitive care to organ donor families throughout the organ donation process. Bishop Brent is able to bring his Anglican heritage into his secular workspace by upholding his baptismal covenant of respecting the dignity of every human being and supporting each person in their search for truth and meaning.
Additionally, Bishop Brent is a healthcare chaplain, and Anglican Missionary who has completed four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) with a focus on trauma chaplaincy and caregiver fatigue. He has experience in the ICU and ED, both in a Level 1 trauma center. He is pursuing a Master of Science in healthcare administration from Oklahoma State University and holds a master of divinity and a master of arts in theology from Liberty University. He has skills in trauma informed care, volunteer management, and non-profit management. He enjoys working across systems of belief and with those who hold no belief. He is a student of the Russian language and has a passion for interfaith dialogue and social justice. Bishop Brent resides in Northeast Ohio, where he, along with his wife Heather, and their five children, have planted the Anglican Mission of Lake Erie.
